AMERICAN GRAFFITI........
Directed by George Lucas and produced by Francis Ford Coppola, American Graffiti is an old classic movie that I liked a bit. In this quite good movie we can watch Harisson Ford in the beginning of his career. Also we can watch Richard Dreyfuss, Ron Howard, Suzanne Somers, Cindy Williams, Wolfman Jack and Mackenzie Phillips. It was awarded an Academy Award and it was voted the first one of the American Film Institute’s top 100 films………..
Mainly its story was about some teenagers and their last day in summer before going to college. In this last day as “children” they have fun by going to parties and other stuff like this. They also try to think responsibly about everything they discuss or do(in the end this becomes rediculous because they seem stupid when they try to look and think like adults).
What I liked in this film was some of its music(especially the part when all the students were dancing).Secondly I liked the main idea about the story although I didn’t understand some details…Thirdly I liked this 60’s style although the movie’s creators didn’t do anything for it since it was filmed in 60’s.Lastly what I liked about this film was its acting. The actors seemed really like teenagers, ready to become adults, ready to “grow up”.
Mainly what I didn’t understand was its story, that was very complicated and there was no one to put things into the right order or explain in a way what was happening. That was the only thing (very important thing)I didn’t understand.
I recommend the movie for adults and teenagers but not for children. It’s a nice and good classic movie but I believe children cannot understand what’s happening and they’ll get bored soon after the beginning.
